I spent the hours from midnight Friday to 1400hrs Saturday awheel AND IT DIDN'T RAIN ONE SPOT.
That's amazing considering the wet & windy weather that's been around

I felt a spot or two, but it would be churlish to mention it.

One of the advantages of a same-sex relationship is that the text "please bring chocolate" is recognised as the emergency distress beacon that it is.  :D

Is it?  I don't think any partner of mine would last long if they didn't appreciate the urgency of such a request.  Just common sense, innit...

I'm not too bad at recognising the urgency and responding correctly to either "bring chocolate" or "bring wine", however I do know that if the text reads "bring chocolate AND wine" I know that I need to act fast.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

The need may be a gurl thing, but understanding the need is open to all genders...

My friend Heather The Painter may finally be getting round to showing her stuff off at our local gallery.  I can't wait.  It's about 15 years since she showed round here, and also about 15 years since I've seen her  :-[ so it's doubly good news.  Her work has evolved considerably since those days, and I can't wait to see it for real  :)

I really hope it happens.

When  I removed the lovely BBS alloy wheels from my car in October, I put the locking wheel nut key in the bag with the nuts (which are shorter than the ones for the winter wheels, because they have to fit under the big centre cap), and I didn't leave it in the back of the to-be-scrapped car as I had feared.  Phew - saves me £30 for a new set.
