Lambda probe/NOX sensor connectors have precise fitting plugs with locking tabs 'nevryfink.

They don't 'come loose' unless the gorilla got it wrong . . .

Bosh! I sent through a draft structural survey report to my boss (in another office) to review and a few minutes later he's on the phone to the other company director in my office, asking about what a perpend is (it's a vertical mortar joint, as any fule kno - call yourself an engineer?

). A further few minutes later, he's on the phone to me, and his first words are "Very impressive!"

Or even emceed and recceed (i.e. past tense of recce).

Just almost doubled* my home broadband speed! We had an old phone extension that had stopped working. As we don't want it I disconnected the old cable and our speed has gone up to over 4Mb/s.

*not a very scientific test as I forgot to test before I removed the cable but the current speed is nearly twice the average speed that we've got over the last 3 years

I have driven a self-mobile vehicle (one of those things with an infernal combustion engine), for the first time since my head-banging episode last year. The doctors said I was allowed to several months ago, but I've been a little hesitant, & Mrs B even more so. She needs the aforesaid device for getting to work, while I just sit here & work arrives though wires & stung-out bits of glass, all the way from far Cipangu (aka にっぽん).

The ex has reluctantly given me custody of our girls. It's a long and complicated story, but as of this week, I have the job of being a full time daddy again

I have been riding a bike, yes riding a bike for the first time in years !!! We went to Lewis for wee pootle, read it all in the link below, and have a gander at the many pictures from there - many of a dog running madly on a beach and me riding a bike \o/

I've booked flights to california for the delightful mary and I so we can visit one of our friends (and bridesmaid) who moved over there post PHD.

The cost of transatlantic flights seems eye watering, especially if like me you just want to get on one plane and get off at the destination, not hop about all over the place, or pay for baggage, or meals. Thank goodness for BA.

I now have to get an esta, and work out how many tea bags I can fit in a 23KG luggage allowance and if that's enough for a week in the colonies.
