the 8:23 train I've been fantasising about for years

"Look at the rolling stock on that!" ;)

I thought about rewording that for a couple of seconds, but then realised it was several feet of potentially amusing rope  :P

Kirst, he spells his name Gyles, which I only mention because makes him look even more twattish.

I did think it didn't look right but he's such a twat I couldn't work up enough enthusiasm to check.

What a wonderful thread!  ;D

Geoffrey Boycott. You've ruined so many otherwise enjoyable days at the cricket when I was a kid with your boring, stale outlook on the game.

You talk shite. You invent ridiculous sayings. You beat up your girlfriends. You are a knob.

Watching you and Piers Morgan (sorry for the repetition) in a bare knuckle boxing match until you're both dead would give me more pleasure than shagging the girl who always gets the 8:23 train I've been fantasising about for years.....

MEGA- twat!

And you used to run out entertaining batsmen like Graham Gooch and Derek Randall!

George Osborne.  I think he's been mentioned before, but I can only suspect his tax proposals are an attempt to get into this thread, so let's give him a special mention, eh? ;)

Although I've played against both (admittedly in charity games  :P) I can't say I've ever run either of them out!

James Whale

I used to think he was a twat.

Then he interviewed me on his radio show once. He was, despite a tendency to hyperbole, a lot more thoughtful and serious about the issues, and took more time to expand on them, than anyone on Radio 4 who has interviewed me.

After that, I reconsidered his twattishness.

William Hague.  Look, you were never going to be PM because

(1) you come from Yorkshire, and therefore have a superiority complex.

(2) you look like a baked bean.

(3) you are less interesting than that really boring guy who replaced you, whose name I had to struggle with...Duncan-Smith, that's it.

On the strength of what I've just watched on C4, Neil Morrissey. And his side kick, but I'm not sure he counts for the purposes of his thread.

Anyway, juvenile, overexposed knob jockeys the pair of them.  And I hope their pub goes bust.

I assume that's for the same reason that people get confused if you walk up to them in Trafalgar Square and ask where England is :)

Well, I am sure - but he's infinitely preferable to the snide hypocrites who inhabit much of Radio 4.
