BFC as well

Why on earth is the 14th so popular ?  You would think none of us had been to the pub for months or something.

We can set up a whatsapp group and send "hilarious" messages between tables.

Swift cycling, good beer and pleasant company? Don't see the attraction myself.
Would love to attend but, as ever, I'm unlikely to know whether I'm going to be able to make it until the afternoon of the day itself. Doesn't seem fair to take up a booking place when there are others who can commit for certain.
If I can make it I'll either grab a spot in the event of a no-show or, if space and the publican permit, wave at y'all from splendid isolation outside the tent. If none of that works, well I might just go out on a bike ride that "just happens" to take me past the spiritual home and shout hello on my way past!
Turn, turn, turn again

Rule of six applies from tomorrow, having consulted the Dear Leader's Little Red Book, so is anyone willing to venture out on Wednesday? I'm happy to host 5 visitors here as per the first lockdown and get some Bishop Nick bottles in. Midweek is also forecast to be dry and mild at night - though we'll be sitting out by candlelight.

Is the tripod stool for a martian to sit on?

Thou but, be careful about the meaning of the rulz. I think you’ll find the current rule of 6 in fact really means rule of 2 for practical purposes - 6 people, yes, but only 2 households, until the next step of unlocking.

I'm reading it that 6 individuals can meet outside or two households which can be more then 6

Ok, maybe the wording changed in my head.

From 29 March:
you will be able to meet outdoors either in a group of 6 (from any number of households), or in a group of any size from up to 2 households (each household can include existing support bubbles, if eligible)

Rulz also say Organised Outdoor Sport is ok. Beer + Cycling = Disorganised Sport though I think.

This Wednesday then - room for two more here. Ok if I get a case or two of ales, then? Last time it worked out at about £2 per bottle.

I'd be tempted by a venue closer to WTM, I'm not sure my legs are up for a trip to Dunmow and back.  But I get my first jab this evening so I might be feeling a bit wonk on Wednesday so I'm keeping my options open.

The Bryony Nano Brewery has keg & bottle stock, just sayin', not sure about itinerary for this Wednesday yet though due to taxi services for kids
