Hi.
When I've downloaded files provided by Audax organisers and transfered them onto my 820 they open ok with all the correct details, but the track seems to take a straight line about 10 metres off the side of the road.
This means I'm always off course, so don't get turn directions.

Is there a way to fix this ?....any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm afraid the answer to your question is a full term of lectures, tutorials and an exam at the end.

It's all down to differences in mapping.
The downloaded files were probably made using a web-based tool, and whatever maps it chooses to use.
When you put this on your device blindly and try to follow it, you may find it doesn't agree with the mapping on your device.

The answer to your question on how to fix it is beyond what I can type here, but I've typed it before, so have a read of this:

Cheers...i'll try to make sense of that over a coffee in the morning !

I've been manually recreating the routes into Strava, which is a bit tedious, especially over 200km.
If that's the only option, I guess i'll get quicker at it...or learn to use a routesheet !!
