... Arriving Friday...

Bonus point for the matching bar tape. Of course, it certainly has purple valve caps too

Definitely the right choice there.

Purple bike is a thing of beauty! May you have many happy miles on it.

Tequila Sunrise.

That's nowhere near as bad as I imagined.  But it isn't 1993 any more.

The purple one is lovely.

I like that, but then I did select Sulphur Yellow for my Airnimal

I quite like the other one, but the purple is spectacular.

Does it fit?

Rutland hadn't done a great job of setting it up. It's already needed some fettling.

It does look lovely - who doesn't like metallic purple paint FFS?

I'll let fboab speak for herself - bikes are personal things, but there was some hooing and maybe even a little haaring when she returned from her test ride. I think it's accepted - it's got a bag and a bottle cage on it now, so I guess it's here to stay  :).

Sounds good.

I rather like the yellow and orange, but purple is good too. As are most colours, really.

I don't care. I deliberately didn't push it when trying it out and this is what I got :

Never mind the comfort, see the speed

Purple bikes are faster!

(My purple bike is faster than my black one, at least. But that might be because it's about 4kg lighter... ::-))

Do you get a free Phantasmagoriana with that bike?

(x-post with the subject  ;D )

Black. The frame has exclusivity when it comes to colour - everything else is black  ;D

I need new pedals as well...

Those bottle cages are so purple they almost, but not quite, make the frame look blue in contrast.

 ;)

(No, they're not currently on the bike...that must be rectified, but I'm lazy.)

I've also got one of these waiting to go on (must get around to doing that as the old chain does need replacing):

Tequila Sunrise.

Thanks, but that's quite tame - add some lime green in as well, then you'd be talkin'!
