Is anyone else noticing a distinct paucity of bumblebees this year?

I spotted one back in April, but haven't seen (or headbutted while riding my bike having failed to see) any since...

Plenty in Leicestershire although they don't seem to be nesting in the shed this year

I've had loads in my garden. The cotoneaster was a magnet to them. They're clambering inside the foxglove flowers now. (South Warwickshire)
