Looks like Imber is open 25-28th August, so Sunday 27th (assuming the other tracks are open that day too)?

Umm, maybe...Need to see if the hall is available.

SPTA Newsletter/other sources are a PITA these days, they seem to solely fixate on ImberBus day for August - you have to look to the Church accessibility, and reverse infer public access from that grant.

Some of the gravel in question were the half bricks used to resurface one section across the Military area. We were warned in advance but it was still an 'adventure'.

I started along that track but quickly backtracked and took the perimeter path that time. I think I made some time despite the significant diversion.

I went along there in the summer of '21 and it was much better but still rather rough.

Here's my favourite pic, 2014 edition

Incidentally, I regretted riding a bike with 55mm tyres (55 front, 40mm back) Although it was great for steaming downhill off road there are only tiny amounts of this on the ride and something faster on tarmac would have been less hard work
