Handlebar Question

On inspection of the handlebars from my tourer, I have noticed a bit of wear where the bar bag mount attaches. These are not deep scratches, but the anodising has worn off.

My question is, has the integrity of the bars been compromised? Are they going to snap and cause my untimely demise? Nothing to worry about or replace immediately?

You'll be fine. If the area around it turns white with corrosion, worry.

Try not to sweat on the area, try not to get salt on the area.

I'd wrap some sacrificial tape round there.

Yeah, I did have some tape on there, but I guess it wore through. I'll use some tougher tape...
