Cyclogs Spam
« on: 10 May, 2011, 06:56:16 pm »
Worryingly, there are a couple of spam messages on the news front page of the Cyclogs website. I have sent the webmaster an email, but have heard nothing, nor have the messages disappeared. Does anyone know who runs it?
If I move on from cyclogs, where should I go?

Try My Cycling Log . There is a decent yACF presence on there...

Now logged into My Cycling Log - I'll transfer the information over from Cyclogs over the next week or so then delete the account there (if it is possible!).

Thanks!

Has anybody had any success with bulk import of historical rides into MyCylingLog? I've tried a few times using the CSV template but never managed it.

I plan to give this a go at the weekend - I'll report back how I get on.

Cyclogs now seems to have disappeared:

Millionaire Bearded Wonder Virgin Media says:

"Sorry! We could not find www.cyclogs.org

It may be unavailable or may not exist. Try using the suggestions or related links below, or search again using our web search. "

Spammed? Hacked?
The journey is always more important than the destination

Looks like I downloaded my rides in time! I still haven't got around to uploading them, and doubt I will have a chance this week either  ::-)

I had used Cyclogs for ages then it dissappeared for about 6 months then came back but all previous ride data was intact, dont think that time it was due to hacking but it might be this time.

Yes, I did it.  Took two attempts.  It's a bit fussy about the date format
