Found mine on the dining room table this afternoon.

It it me, or are they slightly longer than normal buffs?  It's the extra 60mm that makes all the difference, as the Soundcraft folk used to say.

How do these differ in size, shape, material, to the previous version?

I wore the previous version for the whole of RatN, was very useful.

Just compared old and new can't see any obvious difference. (Just one is worn out and the other ready to go)

Not long.
Mine was on back order and arrived a few days after Paul announced he had them.

Royal Mail 2nd Class I think.

Mine arrived in Edinburgh yesterday.

They have a lovely "Bertie Bassett" look.

Straight into the bag for The Flatlands this weekend.

I agree, they look great! I was hoping to use mine on the flatlands this weekend too, but unfortunately I'm unable to ride.  All the best I wish you well

Can confirm that it's warm, admirably midge-proof and easy to find in a drybag full of BLACK clothing.

I have just ordered one for delivery to a UK friend who's coming to visit soon. I wore the previous AUK buff for the whole of RatN, it was brilliant. Hope the new one is as good.
