Serena  :(

Serena is an awful sportsperson. Glad we have a new winner.
I love both the Williams sisters. I think they've both peaked and are beginning the downward slopes, but they're still amazing players.

There's something I don't like about Djokovic, and never have. I can't quite figure it either. A faux-niceness or smarminess or something, dunno.  :-\

It's because he's generally annoyingly the only player who stops Murray winning everything ;)

Is it because he's dead huffy and has a weirdly rectangular head?

He looks a lot like the late great Tommy Simpson in his pomp. The hair is near identical.
(ND has a slightly better french accent than Serena. Simpson probably had better French, but I've never heard it.)

Congrats to him, anyway.  Andy gave it a go, waasnt to be.

She's a pretty white woman and a sponsor's dream. All manner of legal teams are going to try and
get the ban rescinded.

Sickening when he won the Australian Open last year and got the media hordes to sing happy birthday to his mother.

The medal ceremonies reached a crescendo of sickliness in the Nadal/Federer era.  Cringeworthy niceness - it did appear reasonably genuine between them but one can never be sure.

I sometimes wonder if they'd have done the mutual backslapping/psychophancy thing in the 80s how McEnroe, Connors and Lendl would have approached this as they seemed to rather openly hate one another.  :-D

its not done yet, but in the Conjuh-Radwnska match I may have just seen the saddest, most unlucky tennis incident ever.

It is heartbreaking to watch :(
