i was enjoying that, but finally fell asleep about 3 games into the 3rd set. Looked like the Frenchies were finally getting on top of us
It's an interesting game to watch. Same - well almost - rules, yet totally different game. I still haven't got used to the effects of the two-bounce rule; I suspect on a surface like grass (more attacking game, shorter points) it would be more like "regular" tennis, and perhaps better balanced. And that may only apply for doubles - I haven't watched any singles properly yet.
Volleying seemed almost futile.
Despite not having got my eye in, I was enjoying the match!
