So two years and 8,000km on Penelope... and now cycling chum Klaus has got the bug big time and despite rolling Penelope he is now going to buy his own velomobile, a Strada from Velomobiel.nl. A lovely machine, much faster than Penelope. He's been talking about buying one for well over a year and it's been pretty much his only subject of conversation for the last month (and has driven his family mad) but I think it's a good choice. The money is a bit of a killer but you have to do some things in life that aren't 100% sensible.
I still love my velomobile, especially in windy and rainy conditions when I am dry and comfy.
