MalRees and Mrs MR, at my front door a couple of hours ago.

They now are the owners of a purple, green and white Condor....

Arch. Who zoomed (for beryl-esque versions of zooming) past us as we were waiting for a bus.

And that was a very cheery set of waves I got too! ;D

I saw myself.  I was watching ( on iplayer ) the programme about food banks broadcast on the beeb on Tuesday.   I appear twice in quick succession in the background during an interview with a mixed race couple.

Fair to say that I know about half of those who featured.

Last night spotted a recumbent heading west on the Lea Crossing cycle path.  Anyone we know?

There aren't that many cyclists in that part of town, and any velocipede of non-standard configuration is extremely rare.
;D  Andrij.  I pronounce you Complete and Utter GIT

Hmm.... wonder if that relates to the nutter on a recumbent I saw riding out of town along Chigwell Road yesterday morning just past Charlie Brown's, for all intents and purposes looking as if they were committed to a ride ?

I saw a renowned recumbentist from North Kent up in Londontown on Saturday, and someone's butler on his fixie grinding round Cobb's Corner in Sydenham.

I spotted a Viva.  No, not a Vauxhall Viva (though I know where there is one).  I know which thread this is. ;D

The Viva in question was the bike owned and ridden by our own Crock of Gold.  I caught up with him at Tooting Bec, and we rode together, more or less, till our paths diverged at Oval.

I have to say that there are some remarkably unconvivial sections of CS7, where it's difficult to hold a conversation, even if I could hear.

Good to see you, Gursh. :)

I saw another rider who is potentially 'one of us'.

He was riding a Pearson fixed with a green Barley attached.  The left seatstay was black, and the right one white.  Is that actually how they come out of the shop, or is it a mod? ???

Anyway, he looked like he knew what he was doing as he rode up to E&C then up Borough High St.

Jane, on top of box hill earlier today. She was leading a lewisham ride, we were out with the Tandem Club.

"overhaul" it, or you can ride it.  (Jerome K Jerome)

Did I spy a Manotea today at the Henley Road junction in Mill End, having travelled from Skirmett/ Hambleden direction?

About 2:00- 2:30 p.m.

Torslanda, plus his boys, in Den this morning completing an important delivery of shiny red.

Then Arch's FWMHTBAB's car, on our road.

Crinkly and Cubs, in the Den with the shiny red. (This is all a bit 'Cluedo', innit?)  ;D

Car also spotted (but not recognised) and managed to avoid whilst reversing.
VELOMANCER

Well that's the more blunt way of putting it but as usual he's dead right.

A bit late, but on the following day we spotted you, on the corner by the chipshop waiting to cross the road.   We were in the car, and I remarked that you probably wouldn't spot us, since we were in a car and therefore fairly anonymous.

Oops! Didin't realise I'd been friendly to someone.  Will have to stop that  :)  Were you in the blue, riding fixed?
Why should anybody steal a watch when they can steal a bicycle?

Yes, blue and white gilet, black fixed. I don't think our paths cross often as I come along CS7.

Probably not. I come up the New Kent Road and then either over Southwark Bridge or Westminster Bridge via E&C depending on what mood I'm in.
