Wondering whether Charlotte was in the boot...?  :demon:

I know penny owners in Ely & Littleport (if they still have them), both probably past the age to be riding them, but possibly still show them a vintage events.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is...

I've often wondered where all those drive-by videos of me end up.  I've yet to track one down on the interweb.

Been filmed hundreds of time on the Wobblebike, but I only ever saw one online.  :(

I met the rather dapper Goldcrank outside the 100 Club in Oxford Street to hand over a front wheel that was going spare. I got it for free from Ibrahim a few years ago when he emigrated and never used it. Goldcrank is going to put it to good use ( see his thread on the Wanted board).

Then in the 100 Club I saw turista and the rest of his band playing some fantastic cow punk skiffle.
There are two ways you can get exercise out of a bicycle: you can
"overhaul" it, or you can ride it.  (Jerome K Jerome)

I relieved the same Ibrahim of a Crumpler courier bag prior to his emigration.
Whatever happened to Ibrahim?

Wife and kids (thanks for the assist) spotted what was apparently a recumbent trike rider by Rowheath Park.  As it was a woman with dark hair (not the gray haired bloke with a beard) there is either a third recumbent trike rider in these parts, or it was Kim.
(could have been someone else on a recumbent two-wheeler, but the stats on that remain low).

Last time I was in the vicinity of Rowheath Park was on Thursday Afternoon.  On a recumbent bicycle.

Maybe it's the mysterious Pershore Road recumbent woman?

possibly a forumite, in Bristol on Sunday, heading along Feeder road, turning into Marsh Lane, avec  2 yellow ortleb types, with 2 new , wrapped, rims strapped across them, about midday.  We were walking to see the new 'Banksy'  in Marsh Lane, only to discover that after only one day, the bastards had ripped off the protective perspex, and defaced it.   4 mile round trip, on foot, in lashing rain and howling wind!  >:(

Non-Audaxers also at scene included the Bishop of Leeds, a Tory MP, a mayor, the Deputy Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, the ghost of John Radford and loads of sandwiches - all to welcome Graeme to his new parish.  Very best wishes to you and Carol, Graeme!

I’m afraid when the Welton vicar warned the new congregation about Audax, a guffaw escaped before I could stop it. Very best wishes in the new role G.

Kim and drossall during yesterday's Chiltern Grit brevets. They were battling downhill into the headwind on the 100 while I was floating up the hill with 'strong legs' on the 200.

Plenty of other forumites chatted to during the day but I'm not great at linking faces to forum names.

^ This.

That wind was ridiculous (at least as ridiculous as last year's fog).  Not helped by riding a recumbent in 3-speed mode in the hope that the gear cable would continue hanging by a thread until the next control.
