I just created
this track in bikely, which consists of 855 trackpoints. To download it to my Vista hCx without truncating it (500 point limit) requires that I split it into 2.
Both tracks appear as blank lines in the track list.
Is there a field I can add to the file in my text editor which will make it show up on the track list?
When I edit the file on the Garmin to give it a name, it appears to make one track overwrite the other so that when I look at the map, only one track appears. It doesn't seem to matter which track I load, I get the same result.
However, when I press the top right-hand button to get a map back, and scroll up to the area where the tracks are, both appear.
I'm mightily confused.
