I’m calling in sick, cough.

Not great timing  :o

I’m not to bad, just rapping myself in cotton wool.

... not sure if there will be mush-room to dine inside this evening   ;D

I think you need to get out more! Take up a new hobby, perhaps something that involves those bikes you keep hidden away  :)

I'll be there tonight, but not out for too long.

It's very busy but I've secured a table. Also had a veg dish, no mushrooms involved!

PBP debrief at the Spiritual Home on Wednesday? All welcome, WAGS and HABs too - if they can stand a repeat performance of all the war stories.

I’m due at a bbq on Wednesday, but given that it starts at 3:30pm and I won’t be attending until much later once I’m back from London, quite possibly I can make that a flying visit and head over to the Compasses afterwards.

I met Wingnut [PBP 2015] at the Countess of Warwick's Show today, while selling cakes on the St Mary's Church stall and have invited him over to the Compasses on Wednesday. I hope to ride over, but Mrs Tomsk is going to the Compasses by car and my poorly finger may make riding difficult. I have been bothering the Hand Trauma Unit at Broomfield, back there again on Wednesday morning ...

Is your poorly finger PBP related?

Yes. He just asked everyone he met to pull it.

Is your poorly finger PBP related?

I guess so - I had a graze two weeks ago - gardening related, which was ok, cleaned up, scabbed over, but on Thursday the finger was sore and by the time I rolled into Chelmo on Saturday, was a great big lump of pus - lovely! A dip in the immune system during/post-silly rides is not unheard of - I hear there are a lot of PBP related bugs going round, as usual ... So home for TLC, but via A&E.

PBP related knee problems not going away, at home leg up, ice pack on. Hospital tomorrow for X-rays, bummer.

I'll make it to the Compasses - but may come by car depending on timing...

I have read the smallprint of my antibiotics. Alcohol is allowed, yippee, but I shall probably be moderating my intake!  :-\

Commiserations to other victims of self-harm - I hope all make a full recovery and having said "never again" before ...

... And it will be 'Team Car' tonight. Anyone need a lift?

I was hoping to be out tonight but things have conspired against me. Can you folks discuss a saturday that most of you can make in the next month or so? I'd like to buy you all a beer and have a bit of a get together, I dont reckon it's fair to make those who have ridden organise that.

The 21st Sept seems to be the consensus.

you need to be in the room to get a vote  :P
Jibers is okay with the 21st as had nothing else planned for him.
GS is away doing other stuff on the 21st & 28th.
Tomsk is available for the 21st but not the 28th.
I’m only available for the 21st, but it’s not all about me coz I didn’t do the French ride.
ACME is going back to Europe for the weekend of 14th.
Apart from the above notes there was no further in depth discussion about allowing tippers to host on the 21st. Anything I’ve missed from the date selection process??
