A New Definition of Chutzpah...
« on: 20 February, 2015, 12:50:40 am »
Had family meal in Kosher Chinese Restaurant. We (Aged Parents & me) arrived early to get seated before the crowd.
Dad asked about using his loyalty card. Waiter explained large parties couldn't use card as they sat at tables longer.
Placed our orders fairly promptly and starters arrived fairly soon.
Then waited an hour and a half for our main courses, while innumerable takeaway orders were fulfilled.
Cheeky Nephew, who had a Student Essay Crisis, thought he'd get fed faster phoning restaurant asking for delivery at table...
Brother-in-law nearly lost it whilst waiting...

Yes, we were at the tables for a long time but we'd have left rather sooner if we'd been fed!

(Old chutzpah joke is chap accused of murdering both parents begging court for mercy as he's an orphan.)
