The 'join the dots' cycle path. Through a wooded area but it has solar powered lights along the edge of the path.. Freaky... http://www.youtube.com/v/DNgU4mnzx10&rel=1
I completely agree with Reg.
How do they stop the neds (or in Reg's case, students) nicking them?

Though I did complain to the council when the contractors relaying th epath dug it up and left no warning signs. That was an interesting experience at night. I informed them that someone had stolen the cyclepath.
I discovered this one today. A nice pootle and the cutting is rock with lots of ferns and bits. Very pleasant. From where I turned off the surface gets a bit stonier and muddier with a few roots but is still quite rideable, best on a MTB though a tourer should cope. http://www.youtube.com/v/vVAYO82KwCM&rel=1The Forfar audaxes last weekend went under the bridge at 1:15.
