Ow!! It's that time of year again

First bee sting of the year today. Thankfully this one got trapped in the collar line of my shirt and stung my neck; usually they make straight for my gob.

Now, after a couple of Piriton, I'm losing the will to stay awake... must... sleeeeeeppp.....

How often do you get stung?

I was at primary school the last (only) time I got stung.

Since my cycling renaissance - I'd say at least two/three times a year.

Wasps are the worst - I swell up a lot; esp when stung in the face

once or twice a year.  One just missed the Important Parts last year, it got squashed against the top of my thigh when I was fully crouched over going into a steaming headwind.

Yes, wasps really disagree with me as well. My doc gave me an epi pen earlier this year just in case things got nasty next time.

Like Maladict(a), I can't remember the last time I got stung, it was probably as a young teenager at the latest.  I've been nibbled on by the beasties in Scotland, the midges seem to love the taste of me, and I get the occasional red itchy spot where I guess something has had a go, but wasps and bees seem to leave me alone.

Having said that, one of the little buggers will probably dive bomb me now.
