Blimey, the editing of those highlights was shoddy. The slicing up of the anthems was really offensive to the ear, but more importantly there was no continuity about the editing of the play.

A very good performance by Wales though, albeit against the probable wooden spoonists.

Showing off, a quick take and give would have been much more pleasing to the eye and much greater skill imo

The Welsh did very well yesterday, and the French look like emulating them today. The England pack is dire, though the French are also playing very well.

A great win by the English over France, with a wonderful line-out take and pass out of the tackle for a great try.

Oh.

You want to talk about the men's game...

Im not sure there’s an awful lot to talk about in the men’s game, well not if you’re an England supporter.

I thought the French thoroughly deserved the win. They outplayed the England pack in just about every aspect of the game, even to the extent of closing down the England resurgence in the middle of the second half.

It was clear from that game that you shouldn't give the new French captain that much space to work in.

That was just dire, we've come a long way since the Dean Richards era, but looks like we've forgotten just as much

Given the French team's reputation for total inconsistency I now expect them to lose to Italy :demon:

Given Saturday’s match I would suggest that they will need to try really hard to achieve that. The England pack though...

Whereas we shall now lose to Scotland, even taking account of them fumbling tries from 2" out.

Am I alone in thinking it rather unwise of Eddie Jones to continually shoot his mouth off before key games? His comments before the French match reminded me rather of Tony Grieg’s promise to make the West indies “grovel”, whereupon the best team in the world beat England 3 - 0 in the series.

Ireland Wales tomorrow.  The wind will be at its strongest.  Can't see there being many box kicks etc.
Might be a problem for the Welsh supporters if the planes and ferries home are cancelled.

Why should that be a problem? is there no alcohol in Dublin?

I was going to mention that as an upside.  However there are those who's budget won't stretch to that,  let alone the cost of an extra night's accommodation.  Not everyone who has gone from Llandysul is particularly well off.

IANA expert, but I think travel insurance would cover folks.

Perhaps not the Guiness bill though ...
