We're all giggling away at those! Excellent.
It is simpler than it looks.

We had great fun at Panda Base Chengdu and took way too many photos, it is quite possible to spend your entire travel fund in the gift shop although we behaved ourselves very well and only bought one little trinket for our animal mad niece.

Pandas do their own selling really, I imagine whoever is trying to save the Oregon Giant Earthworm must sometimes wish for a more photogenic subject (even if it is 1.3m long!)

I will try to stick a few more photos up but internettage is very slow here and uploading to Photobucket can sometimes suck out one's entire life force.

Red Panda has a very naughty expression, like old-school Dennis the Menace.  I can't help thinking there's a giant Panda somewhere, with its head stuck in a bucket that fell off the top of a door.

 ;D

The red pandas all had wonderfully cheeky expressions and unlike their more famous relatives never stayed still  long enough for a good photo. They were experts at "and pose, 3, 2 move!" Whereas the giants were more like fat, contented old men in a drinking club you could almost hear "Weeeelll, as I was saying to Bertie just last week..."

Weeeell, as I was saying to Bertie just last week:

If sitting up and eating is too much effort, lying down and eating FTW:

Your starter for 10: How did the Panda on the end of the branch get there?

Is this the Panda equivalent of having a window seat on a long haul flight, i.e., being absolutely stuck whilst your neighbour is asleep?

That is brilliant, I thought they just sat around all the time eating. Isn't Tian Tian supposed to be getting jiggy with the other one, not learing rhythmic gymnastics.
