Super Weird WiFi issue

Anyone come across this? I have a desktop that is normally used on wired, currently on Wifi. In W10, I can connect logged in as myself, if Mrs Ham logs in, as her the adapter shows disconnected, and, no WiFi networks....
WTF?

I've had an issue where I don't see any Wi-Fi networks under Windows 10. The only way I got it working was to go into device manager, remove the Wi-Fi adapter, scan for new hardware & let it reinstall the adapter.

Presumably the wireless networks list is user-specific (makes sense, it's full of passwords). You could probably just enter the network credentials again for the other user(s), but there may be a setting to globalise it?

Click on the Win10 start menu
start typing 'network' and you should see 'View network connections'
Select this
You should see the classis style control panel
Right click on the WiFi connection and flip-flop the switches enable/connect
This should wake up the wifi card.

I'll just drop it in the weird windows wifi stuff for the moment and blame W10 and the driver. With streaming radio, switching ID's resulted in the wifi being active on the flip side, but then losing it on "my" side. It's an generic card off eBay that I put in to share screen from a laptop, desktop will be back on copper in a couple of days.
