I swear I get stupider watching each episode.  Is it just me, or are the ceilings ever so high in these subs?
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

We've got three seconds before everything blows up (again).
OK, let's sit down and have a ten minute chat about our relationship then.

Given that they are in two crippled subs, 1000s of feet below the surface, under the ice cap, with mad killer Russians around, you'd think that the ambient peril levels of the situation might be quite high?  Yet the writers seem to be going to extraordinary lengths to engineers tricky situations for them to escape from.

Still waiting for someone to do the outside the sub swim, have their heart stop, but survive because of the cold, and because they have some cheese in their ears to combat the pressure.

Still lovin' it

I missed the bit where they justs surface and bimble off home.  Why aren't they doing that, again?

I blame myself for telling people it was on.

ha ha ha, and we thought that it couldn't get any worse!

The American oil company rep / intelligence agent was really worth waiting for.  And the scene where she talks to all the dead people who tell her what is wrong with the sub before she wakes up - pure class.  Not to mention everyone being double agents up top. (sorry if this is a spoiler but I ask you - how can you really spoil something that is so bad?).

I think that this is going to be a cult classic in years to come.
