Wintergatan - In which we follow Martin's evolution from musician to engineer to philosopher and hopefully back to musician again, as he (with a little help from half the internet) attempts to construct a reliable version of the now legendary Marble Machine instrument, with the aim of taking it and the rest of the band on a world tour.

ElectroBOOM - Not always strictly educational, but this guy knows how to make videos.

Practical Engineering has taught me a surprising amount about concrete.

Technology Connections is a bit of a mixed bag.  Knows his stuff about toasters.

Techmoan - as above.  Most of these aren't that interesting to me, but I love his explorations of obsolete recording media.

Tom Scott needs no introduction, but the various Technical Difficuties series are particularly entertaining.

Black Girl In A Big Dress I found amusing.

Velo-ads John Williams and many of The Usual Suspects do darksidey things.

MedCram has a series of >100 videos on the current pandemic, pitched at just the right level for a morbid lay-git like me. Starts here, current vid here (re Trump, natch). Good examples of the series are molecular biology primer and Covid-19 and clotting.

Anything new is usually explained clearly here before being mangled a week or two latter by the media.

French guy cooking aka Alex - Really interesting content from someone who appears to be a really nice guy. When a maker takes up cooking. (This old Tony who is mentioned up thread has helped him with a Pasta machine).

Blondihacks Come for the machining content, stay for the metric trolling. Quinn rocks, I like her approach to machining, and it's really refreshing that when she talks about having a small workshop, it is actually a small work shop, I'm fed up with youtubers who's small work shop turns out to be larger than my flat.

Dorian Bracht aka Joint Venture Who knew that attaching two bits of wood together could be so interesting to watch...

Alexandre Chappel Norwegian maker who has an obsession with doing crazy stuff with 3d printers... as well as casting things... Unfortunately seems to use way too much (i.e. any at all) MDF.

Adrian Preda Really good wood working in a very small space.

Bernadette Banner Historical clothing, production, as well as the history behind some of it. Well produced, interesting content from someone who knows her stuff.

Laura Kampf German Maker, an interesting mix of crazy and useful projects.

And then, last but not least,

Get Hands Dirty Amazing maker from Portugal, does interesting stuff with making over a tiny apartment, as well as other interesting projects, I can even forgive her obsession with MDF.
