Hard men!
I always knew you lot were pleased to see me.  :P
Jens would have waited for the proper rain, I think ;)
I'm sure you can all rub it in a bit more the next time you see me, in the dry! As long as it's not too windy. :-[
Huggy would you like me to drop off the coffee table sized book at Manningtree station Saturday morning?  :demon:

It would give me something to read while cycling to Norfolk and back, but would probably be better on Sunday morning  :P

I gather that we are scheduled for a return trip to the Swan at Lt. Totham, for a pickled egg initiation ceremony tomorrow.

I'm up for a visit there - haven't been to the Swan since the Cannonball-chomping Rottweiler, Shadow was in residence.

I'll leave it to one of the finishers of the A&S to suggest a route, commensurate with their 400k+ weekend legs.  ;D

This'll be my second pickled egg and crisps bonanza this week.....[post-Asparagus & Strawberries reward at the Compasses]

Another idea: en famille at Jimmy's Farm www.jimmysfarm.com near Ipswich today [in the dry part of the day!] we noticed they are having a BEER and SAUSAGE Festival on 26th and 27th July with various bands, cookery demos, sausage eating contest, morris dancers and much more! There is CAMPING too....

Morris dancing?  I will check the calendar but I think we are on holiday.

Re tomorrow night, do you think we could manage The Mighty North Hill?

I have a meeting that I need to go to which will probably delay me to Witham. I will get over to the Swan though if I am not in Witham on time. Oh the pity it would be to not go up North Hill tomorrow and miss another chance to try to inhale the tarmac as I go.

If you see a green galaxy with a single pannier around Maldon area make sure they're not lost!  ::-)

Note that it's Maldon then pub, not (random) Maldon pub!  :P

He'd turn up to the correct pub (and everyone else would suddenly realise they were in the wrong one).  ;D

Or a Super C saddlebag, it fits in one of them too!  But not in a Super C front pannier.  :P

That was enjoyable and the amiable drunk at the bar was on fairly good form too. A pity he drove home! Still we gave him a good head start.
A nice ride, both ways, with very little traffic. One short shower on the return but there were lots of places where recent floods had left large puddles over the road!
Good to meet tippers and the rest.

ETA: Found this three speed waiting outside when I arrived. My camera is a bit dodgy ATM and producing a suffusion of purple on some shots.

OD, however, is looking decidedly TOWIE and has washed out the purple with orange!
