Bambi and other odd festive nosh

Bambi - seared and seasoned - is in the oven slowly pot-roasting on a throne of giant mushrooms, onion rings, peppercorns, juniper berries and claret. 

Some time after Dr Who, there shall be woodland feasting.

Well we had salad - the leftover of yesterdays pork Dijoinnaise.

That was last year's dinner.  This year's was chicken breasts wrapped in prosciutto and baked on a bed of leeks and garlic.
