Title: Brigs and Stratton Engine advice
Post by: ElyDave on 23 May, 2017, 09:23:39 am
Mine has sprung a leak,  where the carb assembly bolts onto the top of the fuel tank.  There is considerable seepage from somewhere, but I can't quite see where.

I've replaced the combined carb diaphragm/seal but that hasn't cured it.  Before I start further dismantlement and stripping of carbs, has anyone had any similar experience and can offer advice?  I'm wondering if there's a blocked vent/return somewhere that is causing it to overpressurise?

Cheers

If you need it professionally looked at, I can recommend Stuart Palmer at Fenland Spirit - Just a little way along the Ten Mile Bank road from Littleport.

I didn't make repeat posts - I wanted it twice - here and in the general OT knowledge section, but someone kept moving it
