With sudacreme, which was nice.  Have had a bit of a sore arse recently.

Dark again at 6 am :-(  Still, at least it meant I had company from an owl for half a mile or so this morning, hunting in the half-light as we crossed the mosses together.  Magical.

Wol was there again on t'way home, in exactly the same spot and in broad daylight this time.  Poor thing's probably confused by the clocks changing.

Bright, Crisp and Sunny

Pity about the standards of driving, two notable occurrences:

1. Driver of the liveried van bailed out of overtaking due to the pedestrian island in the centre of the road, then passed on my left as I took the right turn lane for the lights. Right hand brake light was out and phone on knee as he typed into it at the red lights.

2. Impatient 5 series touring overtook on approach to blind 90 right despite my being nearer the centre line than the kerb. Proceeded to then turn into the housing development I cut through so his total journey can't have been much more than a mile.

Went on CS7 for the first time since the van headbutt and the holibobs left it relatively benign. I suspect there will be a headwind and some rain on the way home...

Good sunny morning - in shorts/ss-jersey+armwmrs...

One driver ahead, at T-junction, looking like turning right (from positioning) but actually turned left without indicating, as I turned & came up behind them, noticed driver was on her mobile.       Quelle surprise...

Car towing a dog washing trailer, underestimated my speed and their vehicle length, going through a pinch point - cutting it very fine.   Numpton.  Why can't people just wait!

+1 and the presence of another cyclist up ahead to chase resulted in a rapid ride in.

Park in the cycle lane day today, leading to scare the living shit out of Lindsay on Cargo Fleet.
Trip on the Toy Bridge makes everything better, though. Especially when the ticket collector comes over all fan boy on your bike. He was a bit disappointed I was only going to work - the 2 panniers and West Suffolk livery made him think I was on an adventure.

Early bird today after getting agreement to shift my hours slightly, amazing the difference 20 mins can make.

Late for work today......

Tanking it in on the kingfisher, which has a low bottom bracket and wide mks touring pedals.....Whoopsie, I really should learn to stop pedalling around corners on this bike....Massive pedal strike, rear wheel in the air.....just about rode it out, and the adrenaline boost helped speed the rest of the journey up

Twatty road rage on the rab of doom, blue car with silly spoilers pulls out in front of black car who dramatically speeds up to make it more scary so blue car jams the brakes on with a squeal to escalate matters even more and I ride past bothering nobody and get to work.

Well that was quick, and I was spinning out in places. I think it's time for the summer gear to be deployed (48*17 rather than 48*19).

Tailwind and a bit of SCR through Irlam made up for the rain, quite enjoyed that.

Dry and sunny for another lovely ride in with the exception of drivers playing chicken as they passed the bin lorry on double white lines.
