You know how to show a stick a good time, eh?

And my pass the port is in perfect order, thank you. To the left.

Well, do you know the Bishop of Norwich?

Has it still got it's little enamel welsh flag on the bottom?  Anyone got a Saltire lined up to match?

I'm sure by the time it gets here I can rustle up a matched pair from one of the tartan tat shops on the Royal Mile ;)

EDIT:  or make one myself  :demon:

It had lost the Welsh flag by the time I saw it arrive from Oxford into London :(

A lovely set of photos. The cubs are super. I'm a bit far from York but if Le Baton heads south again before hitting JoG I'd love to be a part of the relay.

There is no reason it should stop after JoG.  It started a while before getting to LE, after all.

I was MOST impressed with the Cubs handling of my sensitive parts and sensibilities, my compliments to them.

And who would have guessed that M LeBaton was mighty enough to form a bridge (hurray for bridges!) all the way from the Earth to the Moon!

On the subject of the baton stopping - does anyone see any good reason why it should ever do so? I'm looking forward to meeting it on its way south and listening to its tales of the northernmost places, ideally as it nestles in my saddlebag or somewhere while I pedal it somewhere-wards. Whether north, south, east or west is to be determined, though I don't think I'll be taking it to the moon - at least, not without a return journey!!!

I thought the link to the map was in the OP.  I can't seem to find it.  Where should I be looking?

It got difficult to figure out where it went.
If someone can give me a summary I can update it.

As for the Baton's journey ever stopping, as far as I'm concerned it should try to get to JoG and then we can set it free on another journey.  Until then it can take as long as it wants to get there.  (would be nice if it made it though).

Thanks Ham.  Wow, that's two missing links you've helped me out with just this week end.

Actually, I meant the one that showed the route so far, but Paul's post explains that.

If M. Le Baton can make it to Aberdeen next June I will be happy to show him the sights of Shetland from Sumburgh Head to Muckle Flugga lighthouse.  He'll need to be met from the ferry at Aberdeen on the way south though.  :)
