Had fair play endured DUFC would have triumphed over a vastly inferior Liverpool team and given Scotland its 2nd winners of the big cup

John, I looked this incident up. I watched Celtic's victory as the only Scots team to win the trophy on TV when I was at Newcastle University - goalie Ronnie Simpson had not long left the Magpies for Celtic and I was really pleased with the result).  The mouth-breather with the finger up still doesn't seem to have come to terms with his appalling behaviour; a weak person, I feel.  RIP Walter Smith
