Brooks saddle delivery time from the Brooks website

I've ordered a saddle off the brooks website, just out of interest has anyone experienced a long wait?

I ordered a B17 Imperial on the 28th June and it was delivered yesterday. Although the saddle was made less than 30 miles from me, it came from Italy by UPS.

Just over 3 weeks for me recently (not really sure why they go via Italy...!).

I got some a couple of years ago for Police bikes. The delivery time was very quick (couple of days I think).

I seem to recall that the current parent company for Brooks is Italian which might account for the transit route.

My guess is that the website and the online shop are based in Italy and are run by the parent company, Selle Royal.
