Hydraulic hose connection to Ultegra ST8070 Di2 levers

Having issues with this (and managed to lose the tiny flow restriction from the lever so will need to replace the unit, damn!)

I bought the levers “bare”, no oil, no hoses attached. In the instructions it calls for a flanged hose connection bolt to be used for the lever end.

A quick google showed these out of stock in any of the usual UK suppliers, but available from Taiwan via eBay.  Hmmm. More googling produced nothing on the subject, so I decided (rashly, it turns out) to try one of the straight connectors, the ones that go into the calipers, and of which you get two when you buy a hose....

It just didn’t want to tighten up. It may be the incorrect thread or the wrong length. I’ve installed hoses before but not to these levers.

Has anyone successfully installed the hoses to the levers, and if so what parts did you use.

Ah, the threads ARE different  >:(. M9 at the lever, M8 at the caliper.

Anyone got a source for the M9 flanged connector??
