Freeview HD tuner?

Will a 3yro Sony Bravia (HD ready) with Freeview tuner be capable getting "Freeview HD", or does one need a new "Freeview HD" box/TV?  Oxfordshire Freeview HD becomes available on 28 Sept.

No joy....  its a new one or an add-on box I'm afraid.
