Email & missing attachments

Now the outlaws are living in Gibraltar, the Mrs scans their post & emails it as pdf attachments. This has worked fine until this week where F-i-L said she hadn't attached anything.

Looking into this, Outlook 2010 (via Virgin's SMTP server) here shows the email with attachments in sent items & Windows mail (on Vista & via IMAP on Gmail) at his end shows an email that's the correct size but no attachments.

I've just sent the pdfs via my Gmail account & they arrived.

Any ideas??

No idea why, but have you tried sending from your virgin account to your gmail to see what happens?

Using webmail yes, everything is fine. I'll try through Outlook in a bit.
