Mouse & keyboard modding

I'm feeling quite pleased with myself - I've inverted the scroll direction of the wheel on the mouse on my work WinXP computer so that it goes the "modern" way.  :smug:

As a touch typist I'd prefer keys to be in the same place on different keyboards, so although the PC has a standard UK IBM keyboard it's set to US so the quotes are on the same key and @ is over the 2. It's a start, but it means I've lost the pound sign, which is a right pain. Is there a way of reassigning something like Alt-3 to a pound sign or even shift-3 to pound and alt-3 to hash?

that's not science, it's semantics.

I've found this to be quite a useful tool.. scripted up some fairly complex macros with it in the past.
