Where are these emails coming from?

This occurs both in Oulook for Mac and Mail, so I suspect it is a Google thing!

I have about 400 emails, in all my folders on Google.

When I sync this is fine and the emails in my inbox are correctly downloaded and match

However I have an "all mail" ox that has 29,000 emails in it.

I have deleted the folder and it returns, I have deleted individual emails and they all return

I have checked Googlemail again and there is no folder with these emails.

Where do they come from and how do I get rid of them?

Sorted!

Apparently GMail has an all mail folder that contains just that - every email you have ever recieved!

The system then syncs to this unless you hide the folder on Gmail.

Trying it now ....
