A collision (definitely not an accident). Why would you deliberately run into someone with cameras clearly visible? I don't much care for the chap or his style of riding but wish him a speedy recovery and that the taxi driver will be an ex driver. Someone with issues like that shouldn't be allowed to drive.

That did look deliberate but unfortunately with an oncoming cycle and a car pulling out up ahead I think the cab driver will have enough evidence to wheedle his way out of any serious consequences. Hope I'm wrong and he loses his licence but...

It looks like it is in response the initial beep. Can't see that he needed to cut in, an emergency stop would have sufficed.
