Many years ago, while researching something completely different, I read a paper about developing software to recognise the characteristic frequency profile of Parkinsons tremors, and filter them out of mouse input.  It was stunningly effective.

(That said, my experience of family members with other forms of hand tremors is that they greatly preferred to drive computers with a keyboard.)
