Hi jibers, could you bring your carbon cutting guide with you tonight please?
You can’t just call time out and stroll on into the beach if you don’t like the way things are goin’.

I don’t think Andrewsfield is open to members of the public any more :(

I’m hoping to be out tomorrow and any of the other three suggestions would suit me, but then I’m in the NW  :)

Just checked with a pilot mate of mine and he says anyone can rock up to millibar. They only have Ridley’s Rite on tap, but there are bottles

I think its only during the day (flying hours) that the public aren't allowed.

The last line says 'We would add that the café/bar is available after flying operations have ceased in the evenings'

To be fair, good to them for taking a stand!

Probably best not to risk it, last time I suggested somewhere new it was shut when everyone turned up!

I'm happy to take a punt on the Millibar, with the nearby White Hart as a standby since it's been a while - assuming a NW affair.

I think I might be able to stretch to this too.... will have to ensure I bring some cash with me just in case :) Both locations carry a risk of early closing, would it be worth someone calling Millibar to confirm being open?

What time ETA ?

Yes, looks like white hart closes at 9pm on a Wednesday. I’ll phone millibar to see.

Have tried ringing and texting, no luck, maybe someone else may have better luck?

I have got through to Andrewsfield and the Millibar is apparently open until 23:00 tonight!

I'll aim to be along round 20:30.

Big thumbs up for Millibar
Only one beer on draft (Rite) but well kept and a bargain price of £3/pint.

Perhaps it might feature as a monthly visit - it will be epic in the summer I think though we'd need to keep an eye on the airfield active times as we move in to the lighter evenings.
Perhaps if we visit regularly enough we can "become members"

Maybe an ACME Club Membership?

Before the ban you could get coffee and cake for £3!
