Colonials!  They need to better understand their place in the world!

You can blame The Colonials as well!  It's the universal excuse.  Once upon a time we blamed Oaky for everything but I think we've moved on.

BTW Doncaster seems very nice.  Not seen any evidence of STDs but I'm on high alert!

No ... but we have mentioned several places in past months 'planning', but not actually made it there yet:

Cross Keys, Black Notley
Chapel Inn, Coggeshall
King Billy, Braintree

Any preference?

King Billy works for me.  Presumably there's not need to book anymore, we can just rock up like the old days?

I don't know how many of the Witham peloton might be out tomorrow evening but here's a fun ROUTE to consider.

Count me in What is your ETA at the pub tomorrow? Will come direct as don't fancy following OD via Newmarket. Also is the King Billy near Great Leighs rather than Braintree?

Notley more so I would have thought but it's the Braintree end near the big rbt.

I usually aim for 20:00 when I don't have a dose of CBA....

Not Newmarket or even Lowestoft  ::-)  I just wanted a gentle spin and the Flitch Way is always nice.

Looking at the map yes more Notley. I was looking at the bypass which is parallel to the road the King Billy is on and is the Great Leighs bypass. Should be there around 8.30.

Lowestoft best avoided at this time of year!

Which is why a modest jaunt down the Flitch way makes sense!  You could bring your Clown Bike  ;D
