That really is a sad loss. I would encourage any fan of his who is not already familiar with it to give a listen to his collaborative album, 'The Hour Of Two Lights".

Terry Hall was a key figure in my musical upbringing. He was a master of the perfect pop song.

Jerry Dammers is the real genius behind The Specials but Terry was the front man. You couldn't get more Coventry.
The fact that Terry had a relationship with Jane Wiedlin of The Go-Gos makes my mind boggle.

Saw the specials many times . Always a great band live . Terry would often stand there slightly detached from the band .Then make a cutting edge remark & bring the house down . RIP Terry

I actually prefer the Go-Gos version of Our Lips Are Sealed. Great pop song.
