Spare straps for Viiiiva HRM - use a Garmin one?

I've seen a thread in another place that says that HRM straps are interchangeable between brands. I mostly use a Garmin Dual but, for Zwift, I have a Viiiiva, because I need the Ant+/Bluetooth conversion feature.
I was thinking about spare straps, and found a
thread in another place
that says that they are (mostly) interchangeable between brands. So has anyone tried a Garmin strap on a Viiiiva?

Not tried it that way but I needed to replace the strap on my Garmin and I bought a cheap no-brand off the internet that used the same connections as the Garmin strap, so I'm guessing that any strap that uses the same connections will work.

I bought these spare straps on Ebay for my Garmin 1030 Plus.
