Strava routes

The Strava app has updated and now I can't see routes I planned myself. Am I being dumb, or have they really removed this functionality?

I can see them on the website but not in the app.

I don’t really use them but when I tried to save a recent ride in the app it prompted me to switch to a premium account. Maybe a premium feature?

In the app (IOS) I can see a route that I just created in the web interface. Don't know about pre-existing routes as I didn't have any at the moment.  I do pay for Strava (ie Premium)

On my android phone, I can see my routes via Maps button (next to Home) at bottom of screen, then the 'bookmark' symbol on the right of the "search locations" txt window at the top...
