I see Aldi are selling an arc-welding kit:
and a hand truck:
... in their special buy on Thursday. Got me thinking - could I weld a hitch on to the hand truck and make a useful trailer?

Without a bit of practice, you'd probably just blow holes in the barrow tubing.
If you have something small-wheeled like a Brommie, you could cut half the handle off and bolt a hitch onto the end.

Thanks. I wasn't sure myself if I was serious, but I do have a Dahon D7 which would make a suitable tractor unit.
I'll see if my local college are doing any welding evening classes. If so, might give it a go.
