LOL, no I don't think so. For all that Craig Busch has a lot of familiarity with big cats, and how to behave with them, he has still been badly mauled on a couple of occasions. Even domestic cats can decide that they've had enough and give you a warning swipe or bite, the same from three hundred pounds of Bengal is likely to leave your head ringing!

Indeed

The guide said "Oh they'll be fine as long as you stay in the (open top) Landrover. They can't really distinguish you from the vehicle"

I love that photo because he so obviously is doing just that.

Talisker Clive W (was Talisker Clive O), on holiday for a couple of weeks at Chez TimO. He's inspected most of the rooms, checked out the cat litter (hurling a good portion across the room in the process), tested out all food and drink that's available, and decided that halfway up the stairs is a good place to guard the house.

Whether he'll be happy being cooped up here for a couple of weeks is another thing, but since the alternative would have been a cage in a cattery, he shouldn't complain... yeah right.

Being a totally black cat, he is of course damned near impossible to get a good photo of, since the cameras autofocus refuses to admit he exists. $:-\$

Get him drunk and stationary (see above) and focus on a nearby object.

The first weekend with our profoundly deaf pure white English short hair thing, he drank half a glass of a decent minor Burgundy. He was drunk, and not very stationary. Manic, in fact. He was impossibly curious, kept on wrapping himself around my shoulders like a living fur accessory, before being neatly sick in his earth tray.

He sensibly drank lots of water before he went to bed.
