Their Christmas present just arrived. Well, to be honest it is actually Alfie's present, given he is so geriatric. He currently sits on the radiator when the heating is on, which is a struggle for him to get up to, via a missing bannister and a carefully placed bedside table 
I got exactly the same bed for Talisker, but he rarely used it.
Kai did use it when he was sleeping in the Bathroom (because he was un-neutered and prone to spraying a bit), but hasn't shown much interest since.
Kai also did the kneading thing in that bed, and I tend to agree with others that it's them naturally doing what they would have done as kittens to stimulate milk from mum. We do tend to treat them in a very kitten like fashion, so it's hardly surprising that they sometimes behave like very big kittens.
I wonder if Zev will use it now that she'll be allowed to wander around the house, and further afield if she wishes. Her hair isn't half as long as Kai's, she'd just a bog standard domestic short hair, so she may well feel the chill weather a bit more.
