I wish I had a camera. I have been cat-sitting!

He's a small and lithe 17yr old, and profoundly deaf. He is very, very vocal, likes eye contact, and will search out every opportunity to give affectionate head-butts. This means some strange positioning antics as he finds some useful high point to either look at you, or get onto your shoulder.

He really, really has to be at eye level, or as near as damn it.

He also seems to like my ears.

Mojo was clooking his claws on the sofa yesterday (Naughty boy!) when he got one of his claws stuck. He just sat there with his paw in the air looking daft....

Our Ol has taken to doing this as well. I think that as he's getting older he's finding it harder to fully-retract his claws. He just hangs there looking guilty until disentangled...

We trimmed his claws after that so hopefully he should be alright for another couple of weeks, until he gets stuck on one of my tops anyway....

Talisker tends to get stuck on my dressing gown, but it's an advantage when I need to give him his pill first thing.

Grab cat.
Invert cat.
Cat struggles and get paws caught in dressing gown.
Give cat pill.
Disengage claws.
Plonk cat down for his breakfast.
