Also from last night.

There are some stitching errors, I'm bored with correcting them so it will wait till I get home.

The image should link to a larger version, but not the full size one - which is 16,000 pixels wide.  :smug:

It is simpler than it looks.

A work in progress, I've still to clone out the tripod, and fix the blown highlights in the sky.  The pics were taking using my dslr + Sigma 10-20mm at 10mm, tripod and nodal ninja 3 panoramic tripod head.  It's the lighthouse on Gallie Craig.

Got a few more panoramas to stitch from my holidays at Dumfries + Galloway.

BrianI, very nice work.

Looking across to Mont Blanc, from across the valley at Parc D'animalier.

Stitched with hugin from 9 vertical format images. Original is 8576 x 2448px.

That's quite an interesting one (I like lighthouses, they fascinate me), but the "Culross Abbey" is definitely the best.  It as a variety of objects, all about the same apparent height, and nothing seems too distorted.  I'd put an image like that up on my wall.
Actually, it is rocket science.

Jaded, where is this? Looks great.

Hi Andy,

It is taken from the north side of Stac Polly. That whole area had one visible sign of man - a boat on a loch. Otherwise it was completely deserted and effectively untouched. Incredible. As were the clouds of midges.

Got a couple from my current travels in New Zealand, first one is from Tongariro national park, taken not far from State Highway 1.  The 2nd is taken from the Queen Charlotte track.  Did it quickly so couldn't be arsed to sort out the slight lens flare issue.

Nothing particularly special, compared to the lovely photos here, but here's a crop of a pic from a field somewhere in England

Getting there...

Maghery Footbridge, stitched together with Hugin, taken during Sunday's Lap the Lough.
What's this bottom line for anyway?

Is the guy in the red jersey the same guy in the red jersey four times?

Across the bridge you've got the same grouping of colours, left to right, red, white, blue, blue at least twice, so they are all repeated. ;D

I love it with panos and people.  I've got a shot of the Thames with the same couple walking towards me on one side of the shot, and away on the other side.  It's almost perfectly symmetric. :)
Actually, it is rocket science.

There were only 2 images stitched to make this one up so unless somebody has managed to get a Faster Than Light  travel method perfected there should only be a maximum of 2 of anybody there .  ;D  The interval between snaps was probably about a minute though.
What's this bottom line for anyway?

Less of a panorama and more of a stitched sky.

It is simpler than it looks.

Top one is the high plain badlands of Wyoming near the town of Green River; the lower is the Grand Tetons, a bit further North.

I meant, where are they?  I couldn't see them nor a link to them until I did a reply check.

Spectacular.

Two more Grand Teton pics.   If I'd known Hugin was so easy to use, I'd have done more.

edit: and some from Yellowstone.  This is Mammoth, over-run with Elk.

A first bash at this. It all feels a bit narrow. Anyway, the edge of Dartmoor, out for a cycle ride on my holidays in August. Big version if you click.

This one was taken yesterday, as reconnaissance for 7th October.

It is simpler than it looks.
